Juliana Brsakovska Bazerkoska

Member of the Working Group of Women Experts on Foreign and Security Policy

She completed her Doctoral Studies magna cum laude at the Faculty of Law at the University of Cologne, Germany, and currently works as a Tenured Professor of International Relations at the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus”, at the University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje. She teaches: International Relations, the European Union in International Relations, Multilateral Diplomacy and the UN, International Economic Law. She has completed a study stays at the Lauterpacht Center for International Law, at the University of Cambridge, the United Kingdom, as well as at the University of Turin, Italy.

Her professional experience includes several European projects, among which the most significant are engagements with the Environmental Legal team of the University of Siena, the Support to the European Union Integration Process (Phase III, SMEI 3) project in Tirana, Albania , as well as the engagement as Lecturer at the European Institute for Public Administration (EIPA) in Barcelona, Spain.

Her research interests are focused on International Relations, External Relations of the European Union, EU membership in International Organizations.
